3-DAY VIPASSANA SELF-COURSE IN TATRANSKÁ ŠTRBA

We are happy to announce that a 3-day self-course will take place in Tatranská Štrba, in a tranquil environment at the foot of the High Tatra mountains.

The course will be held from 24 - 28 April 2024.

Due to the type of course, participation is only possible for students who meet the following conditions:

  • 2 x 10-day courses (2x as a student or 1x as a student and 1x as a server)
  • no more than 2 years have passed since the last course
  • has not practiced any other techniques since the last course
  • does not practice energy healing on others

This will be a small course with a maximum of 16 students and the application will open on 8 March 2024.

By car from the direction of L.Mikulas and from the direction of Poprad

From the D1 motorway Ružomberok-Mengusovce take the exit Važec and continue towards Poprad. (From the direction of Poprad, exit the motorway at Mengusovce just after the Bôrik tunnel and follow the main road to Tatranská Štrba, pass through the village, go under the bridge and turn right after about 150 m after the bridge).
You can recognize the turn from both directions by the green sign CHATOVA OBLASŤ No. 3 TATRANSKÁ STRBA LIESKOVEC and a large sign with the sign Penzion Medvedica (which is not us). You are turning onto an asphalt road, not a rutted forest road! From the turn off you will go about 700 m, where you will see a container shed on your left with a sign pointing to Tatra Chalets and you will also see a white house with a brown roof, which you will turn towards. You can also orient yourself by the house number - the cottage numbers are 3057 and 3058. If you are at the higher numbers, you have already passed the chalets, if at the lower ones, you have to go further. At the turn-off to our powder room, there is a signpost on the right hand side of the road pointing to a cogwheel pointing to the right, but at which you turn left! In front of the container shed, turn left and park -there is enough space for 8-10 cars.


From the railway station ŠTRBA: 20 minutes on foot

Get off the train and facing the station, turn left along the cobbled walkway that leads from the station building along Platform 1 and continues along Track 1 for about 150 m. After the traffic lights, there is a sharp uphill turn in front of a brick railway box, which will take you out onto a woodland path. Follow it down a little way and turn right along the footpath and in about 2 minutes you will find yourself on the main road Važec-T. Štrba.Cross the road and directly opposite continue along the asphalt road to the Lieskovec cottage settlement. From the turn-off about 700 m you will see on your left a shelter with containers with the sign Tatranské chaty on it.You can also orient yourself by the house number - the cottage numbers are 3057 and 3058.If you are at the higher numbers, you have already passed the chalets, if you are at the lower ones, you have to go further.
